The Coldsnap team is thrilled to return to Knox Performance Centre this spring to host a special performance by Juno Award-winning artist Wesli, who will bring his captivating blend of Haitian roots music to the stage on April 25, 2025.
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Wesli (Wesley Louissaint) has risen from humble beginnings to become one of Haiti’s most celebrated musical ambassadors. Wesli’s music is a vibrant tapestry of sounds, weaving together traditional Haitian rhythms, gospel, reggae, Afrobeat, funk, and more. His performances are renowned for their energy and passion, reflecting a life dedicated to sharing the rich cultural heritage of Haiti.
